What a year it has been—for Family Spirals® and the world we live in. We’ve taken steps to make life better for people facing challenges within their families, and to foster empathy toward other people, other species, and the world we share.
This year, we launched our first programs and connected with dozens of people dealing with ongoing struggles with an in-law, parent, or sibling. We’ve also supported those grieving for a sister or brother, or mourning a beloved pet.
Highlights from 2024:
- Our Reach: Thousands have visited our Family Dynamics Clearinghouse™ & Virtual Art Galleries, and we continue to add new programs, books, films, and compelling works of art. Now–we need your help to modernize our website and make it more accessible and interactive.
- Supportive Services: There has been great interest in our discussion and grief support groups, Let it Out!. We also introduced 1-to-1 sessions which revealed how much our work is needed.
- Mourning Pets: We’ve been featured in the Australian Associated Press, as well as outlets in Texas and Ohio, with an interview in a major U.S. news outlet coming soon. We’re also working with the International Air Transport Association to create systems that allow people to fly their pets’ remains back home for burial, if their pet passes away while they are abroad.
Let’s Build the Future Together:
The innovative nature of our work makes your support especially vital for its sustainability and growth. With your help, we can expand our services to established communities—faith-based organizations, civic groups, and universities. We also have exciting plans for our art galleries.
