Gabriel Yuri

Architect, designer, photographer, and entrepreneur, Gabriel Yuri studied at UC Berkley where design was shown to have the “power to shape social dynamics, influence behavior, and elevate communities.” After graduating he worked at Diller, Scofidio + Renfro, a multi-disciplinary architecture & design firm best known for their design of the High Line in New York City, before founding his own design agency, New Operations Workshop. While sought after for high-end projects, Gabriel joins Family Spirals’ Arts League offering his expertise in the development of our new space and architecture program, “Spaces for Living Beings.” His work has been featured in numerous design and legacy media, including Architectural Digest (AD) see video.

“New Operations Workshop is a design agency working across platforms and programs. Drawing from experiences in a range of design practices, we intersect and harmonize to broaden the scope of the conventional architecture firm. At the heart of our work is a belief that the best design begins with people — the ways they gather, move, connect, and inhabit space together. Social interaction is not an afterthought but the primary lens through which we approach every project. From retail experiences to domestic dwellings, we embrace diverse project types and settings and welcome collaboration in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.” For more information, visit www.newoperationsworkshop.com.
